How does one find the ideal team bulding , year end activity for a diverse group of South Africans from different religious and cultural backgrounds? Every year we search for something for Jozikids and last year we really “hit the nail on the head”
We found The Wooden Spoon Kitchen who ran the most incredible vegetarian cooking class for us that catered to everyone’s tastes with the emphasis on healthy and innovative cooking. It was perfect.
Firstly, we were made to feel so welcome.
Then we were given beautiful aprons to wear, served homemade caramel popcorn and a range of delicious healthy drinks to choose from.
We gathered at a lovely long wooden table filled with the ingredients needed to create this extraordinary menu:
Menu
Bean Chilli, brown rice and guacamole
Courgette and butter bean pesto salad
Gluten free banana bread with almond butter
Gluten free seed bread with avocado and smoked salmon
Chocolate mousse with berries & almonds ( made with avocados!)
We worked in groups of 2 or 3 each creating a dish under the gentle guidance of our host- Ankie.
Once completed we sat down to enjoy our meal.
A fabulous memorable evening filled with so many tips to take away and use in our lives.
Thank you Anki!

Good morning,
During the school holidays, what activities do you have for school children and on what dates? Perhaps a calendar will assist. Please also include the costs implications.
