Hard to figure a fun movie that isn’t very good. This movie isn’t very good. The plot has holes you can drive a planet through (should diving planets ever become a thing), and simple things like interesting characters and interesting plots are sort of skipped. But, having said that the movie is a lot of fun.

A suspense spy thriller with guts and grit and not a single laser beam watch or remote controlled BMW in it. Brilliant. It’s Iron Man. It’s good solid super-hero fun. It’s what Thor wishes it was and what The Avengers couldn’t have existed without. Go see it, you know you want to, and you won’t be disappointed. Just a bit befuddled.

Take the 13+ kids, but be careful, you’ll enjoy it as much as they will.
