Horse riding lessons, beginners to advanced riders


Callahan Equestrian is a small, semi-private yard based in Farmall.

We offer horse riding lessons from beginner to advanced level riders, competitive and non-competitive, taught by qualified coaches. We also offer livery with a limited number of stables, for a more intimate feel.

Children and adults can enjoy their lessons in a well-maintained, friendly environment where they can learn and grow as equestrians.

Pony Camps


We offer pony camps during the school holidays, where we will teach all things necessary to be a good horseman. From grooming, feeding and taking care of horses and ponies, to riding and games on horseback. Children will enjoy every minute of it!

Pony parties


We also offer pony parties for your little (or big) ones, where they can come and enjoy the outdoors and horses, in a safe friendly environment.

Callahan has become my second home. It’s an amazing environment to be in, the people are always so friendly, the grooms are amazing and the horses are healthy and happy. My lessons at Callahan have brought me a long way since my other yard. Within 2 weeks I saw my riding change completely. I am riding amazingly and I’m now closer to reaching my goals and that I thank the team at Callahan for.

Such wonderful yard!
Very friendly environment with friendly grooms and stunning horses. I always look forward to my lessons here and feel it’s brought me further and pushed me more than any yard I’ve ever ridden.

A fun filled 3 days incorporating learning about horses and ponies, riding and crafts. Theory and practical lessons on feeding, grooming, anatomy of the horse and care of the horse.

Lots of exciting games as well.
