Fabulous face painter
Face painting is one of my all time favourite things. I started face painting adult faces at dance festivals around South Africa in 2010 and moved on to kids' faces a few years later. In 2014 I completed a face painting course with Misha Morard from Madame Zingara's.
Over the years I have painted at family days and big corporate events such as H2O, The Delicious Festival, Ultra South Africa and the 5FM Neon Run. I also paint at birthday parties, music festivals, nightclubs, charity events and shopping malls in and around Johannesburg and Pretoria. For four years I face painted at the Suncity Resort near Rustenburg over the Easter and December Holidays as part of their holiday programme.
Good quality, non-toxic paints used
All the paints I use are good quality, hypo-allergenic and comply with EU cosmetic directives. My favourite brands are TAG, Snazaroo, Superstar, Chameleon and BodyArt which are all non-toxic and water-based to make it safe and easy for moms to remove. I always add glitter for that extra sparkly touch and UV paint at night-time events to give that awesome glow-in-the-dark effect.
Some of my favourite face paint designs for kids are unicorns, butterflies, Frozen Elsa and Superheroes. For adults I love painting Sugar Skulls and pretty floral designs on the side of one eye.
